Insuring Email Delivery, Use of Spam Filters, & EMI Certifications
EMI alone owns and operates the web site - www.otcdigest.com . All emails sent to its Complimentary Subscribers and Focus List members can only be verified by our unique sending IP address of 66.132.236.46 . In addition, our correct return paths are

and

depending on if you are a member of one or both services. We DO NOT send emails with any other IP address or return email. If our IP address changes you will be notified by email prior to the change so you have time to make any minor changes to avoid interruption of service. If you wish to comment on any email you recieve, or you are not receiving our emails, please DO NOT use the reply function. Instead, call us at 877-682-3443 or email us using the 'contact us' form.
Although the OTC Digest is whitelisted by all major ISP's, it is your own private spam filter settings that can accidently block or delete legitimate emails that you may be paying to receive. To insure proper delivery, Complimentary Newsletters members need to add
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
to their contact list or address book in all their email programs. Focus List members need to add
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
to their respective contact lists and or address books. This will avoid having any special filtering rules potentially block delivery of either newsletter.
As a general rule everyone should always enter the return path email of any email service you wish to recieve in your inbox. To do this, simply right click on the email and view the properties or "email header" and you will see the "Return Path" email. This is the email you need to add to your personal address book or contact list. This is true regardless if you use a free online email service such as Hotmail or Yahoo and or an email program such as Microsoft Outlook or Eudora on your personal computer or hand held mobile device . Any legitimate email program will provide excellent custom spam filtering, but you must take the time to understand how to use the filtering rules correctly. For this reason, in the event your filters are not set correctly it is a good practice to always scan your trash and junk email folders prior to deleting them in the event a legitimate email is put in your trash or junk mail folder. If this happens simply add the sender to your safe list or address book or contacts to avoid it happening again.
Equity Media, Inc. maintains a close relationship with SpamCop.net and they will also assist if you have concerns about forged emails or spam. Simply because an email you receive has a legitimate email in the return address field does NOT mean it came from that source. Spammers commonly forge the header of emails to make it appear as though it came from a legitimate source. The only true way to verifying the origin of any email is by the sending IP address, and in our case that number is 66.132.236.46 and is in clear view in the header, properties, or options of any email we send.
If you receive an email or advertisements claiming to be from OTC Digest with the return email path ending in - @otcdigest.com but the IP address is not 66.132.236.46 - Please report this immediately by phoning us toll free 1-877-OTC-Digest within the USA (877-682-3443) or emailing us using the 'contact us' form. All spam or forged emails using the OTC Digest name are reported to the respective ISP's and other authorities for Trademark violations and Copyright infringement. In addition, since emails cross state lines they fall under the same rules and regulations as 'US Mail' therefore, anyone attempting to transmit emails using our domain - otcdigest.com will be reported immediately and investigated by both the US Post Master General and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Mail and E-Mail fraud is a federal crime.

General Terms
The OTC Digest Complimentary Newsletter is an electronic publication committed to providing our readers with information on selected publicly traded companies. The "materials" contained on, distributed through, or linked, downloaded or accessed have been derived from the company, press releases, and or the company's filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission and other legitimate financial service providers. The "materials" are neither an offer nor solicitation to buy or sell any securities mentioned. While EMI believes its sources of information to be factual and reliable, in no way does EMI represent or guarantee the accuracy thereof, nor the statements made herein. Readers need to always perform their own due diligence, consult with their personal financial advisor and independently verify all claims.
Any paid advertisements and materials relating to EMI's respective customers are not intended to directly or indirectly provide advice as to the value of any securities of the companies described or as to the advisability of investing in, purchasing, holding or selling such securities. EMI's Complimentary Newsletter customers, in most cases, have paid for advertising services and the Complimentary Newsletter advertisements are not endorsements, recommendations, analysis or advisories of any nature by the Publisher. EMI does not endorse any opinions or recommendations regarding the materials advertised, nor does it give tax or investment advice or advocate the purchase or sale of any security or investment advertised. An offer to buy or sell can be made only with accompanying disclosure documents and only in the states and provinces for which they are approved. Many states have established rules requiring the approval of a security by a state security administrator. Check with http://www.nasaa.org and call your state security administrator to determine whether a particular security is licensed for sale in your state. Many companies have information filed with state securities regulators and many will supply investors with additional information on request. No advice or recommendation is made by the OTC Digest or EMI.
All statements and opinions contained in the "materials" are the sole opinion of the authors and not necessarily that of EMI and is subject to change without notice. EMI is not liable for any investment decisions by our readers. Readers should independently investigate and fully understand all risks before investing. It is strongly recommended that any purchase or sale decision be discussed with a licensed financial adviser or broker prior to completing any such purchase or sale transaction. Neither EMI nor its officers, directors, and or employees are registered investment advisers, or broker-dealers, or members of any financial regulatory body. It should be understood that there is no guarantee past performance will be indicative of future results. Any references in the newsletter to past performance(s) of companies previously advertised may be specially selected to be referenced based on their favorable performance. Some companies and the companies referenced in the disclosure below may not be representative of all past advertised companies since not all past advertised companies may have performed as well. It should be understood that EMI does not make price targets and/or projections for any stocks. Readers are cautioned that small and micro-cap stocks are extremely high-risk investments and you may lose all or a portion of your investment if you make a purchase in any of the advertised stocks.
EMI does not represent, warrant, or endorse the accuracy, reliability, completeness or timeliness of any of the information, content, views, opinions, recommendations or advertisements (collectively, the "Materials") contained on, distributed through, linked, or accessed from any of the services contained on the OTC Digest web site (the "Service"), nor the quality of any products, information, or other materials displayed, purchased, or obtained by you as a result of an advertisement or any other information or offer in or in connection with the Service (the "Products"). You hereby acknowledge that any reliance upon any Materials shall be at your sole risk.
Because EMI in most cases receives compensation from the companies featured in the "Complimentary Newsletter" and listed on the "Featured Company" page, there is an inherent conflict of interest in our statements and opinions and such statements and opinions cannot be considered Independent. Exact compensation is listed in the chart below and EMI may be paid in the form of cash, free trading shares, restricted shares, warrants, options, or in exchange for services. The following is a direct quote form the SEC's web site: "While legitimate online newsletters can help investors gather valuable information, some online newsletters are tools for fraud. Some online newsletters spread false information or promote worthless stocks. The most notorious sometimes "scalp" the stocks they hype, driving up the price of the stock with their baseless recommendations and then selling their own holdings at high prices and high profits." EMI encourages our members to read our compensation disclaimers carefully and to also visit the SEC web site and become educated on the rules regarding penny stocks, promotion over the Internet, and the rules regarding proper disclosure of payments to newsletters. The SEC's page on "Tips for Checking Out Newsletters" is located at: http://www.sec.gov/investor/pubs/cyberfraud/newsletter.htm
EMI and its employees forbid the private purchase of shares in EMI client companies as long as EMI has any direct contact with the client companies and/or its principals. EMI may sell shares pledged for payment without giving prior notice. EMI may unintentionally benefit from an increase in share price of any advertised company however, that is not the intent. The liquidation of stock always has a potential to negatively impact a company, including decreasing market value of the company's securities. EMI makes every effort to sell shares when there is sufficient volume to absorb the sale of our shares without negatively impacting the price. EMI may continue to cover advertised company after the expiration of their contract at EMI's discretion and for the benefit of our subscribers.
